Experienced in all aspects of building structure design using structural concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry for a variety of end users. Projects have included multi-span portal frames, large span truss framed buildings using tension stability structures, multi-storey office buildings, multi-layered car parks etc. The assessment of sites for geotechnical or contamination problems is normal including making recommendations to clients when they should engage suitable specialist investigations eg borehole surveys, chemical sampling, ground improvement techniques etc. Prior to forming his own company, Bill was an Associate at Anthony Ward Partnership and undertook much of his initial training with Conder Structures.

Director
Nick is experienced in all aspects of building structure design using structural concrete , steelwork, timber and masonry. Projects have included most forms of steel framed structures, mixed material construction sites for a variety of end users including housing, commercial, leisure and education. Has experience in the appraisal of existing building and structures for structural adequacy, following accidental damage, fires and unusual ground movements and for compliance with Building Regulations.

Clinton Lee I.Eng., A.M.I.Struct.E
Structural Engineer
Clinton joined us in February 2002 from Calleva Design Services, where he served as a project engineer. Prior to this Clinton was with various Consulting Engineers, including 7 years with Upton McGougan, where he was a Project Engineer with design and supervision responsibilities and gained experience in the design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures.

Pete Townsend B. Eng (Hons).
Structural Engineer
Peter joined the consultancy following a brief period at Upton McGougan. Currently he is furthering his experience in all building materials with steelwork design being concentrated on at present. Peter has 5 years site experience starting as a Site Engineer working his way up to Site Manager. The projects he has worked on include £250,000 retaining walls, £32million Southampton FC’s St. Mary’s Football Stadium and infrastructure works, £68million dual carriageway construction and associated structures and £120million Channel Tunnel Rail Link Contract 420. This site based background has given Peter good experience in communicating with contractors and understanding the difficulties of coordinating site operations. Peter tries to use this knowledge to influence the way he approaches the projects he is involved with at W. F. Brown Associates Ltd.
